Caring For Your Swimwear

Here are our suggestions for looking after your swimsuit to give it the longest possible life span.

  • When you get out of the swimming pool rinse your swimsuit immediately in cold water at the swimming pool. Do not use any soap on your suit. Ring the suit out by hand and place folded inside a towel or bag
  • If possible do not shower in your suit as shampoo and soap may damage the suit
  • We would not recommend using the electric spin dryers that some swimming pools have. Swimsuits can get trapped, tear and become damaged
  • Once home, rinse your suit again in cold water. Hand wash only, do not put your swimsuit in the washing machine. Squeeze the water out by hand and hang up to dry immediately
  • Do not leave your swimsuit wrapped in your towel in your bag for a long length of time, if possible
  • Do not tumble dry your swimsuit
  • Do not iron your swimsuit
  • Do not dry clean your swimsuit
  • Avoid contact with grease, sun oil, shampoo and other chemical agents
  • Avoid contact with rough surfaces
