Sarah Bohn founded the company after finding it difficult to find active swimwear for her own curvy figure, when she took up swimming as a hobby. Keen to master all the strokes, turns and dives in the pool, she struggled to find swimwear on the high street that worked for her body shape and was comfortable. At the time, in 2003, any active swimwear you could purchase on the high street was too high legged and had no bust support, and anything for the larger bustier women was leisure swimwear and did not stand up to the rigours of active swimming.  www.ukswimstore.com was then born! With the aim of bringing active swimwear to women of all shapes and sizes, all year round.
